Roy Kobert Featured in Multiple News Outlets Discussing Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors Filings for a Florida-Based Law Firm

ORLANDO, FL – May 29, 2015 – Roy S. Kobert, shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Orlando office, was featured in Law360, the Orlando Sentinel, the Daily Business Review, the Orlando Business Journal, the Daily Journal (California edition) and WPLG Local 10 Miami News discussing the abrupt closing of Florida-based law firm Butler and Hosch and its 16 affiliated entities in 27 states. The firm, which was one of the largest foreclosure firms in the country handling nearly 50,000 active foreclosure cases pending in 27 states, left nearly 700 attorneys and staff without jobs when they closed their doors May 15, 2015. During its out of court workout, Kobert was hired to assist the firm negotiate with its secured lender, and with potential third-party suitors and ultimately the initiation of a state court proceeding when it could not timely fund payroll.
