GAINESVILLE, FL – December 23, 2018 – Stephanie M. Marchman, employment law attorney and shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Gainesville law firm office, was chosen to be featured in The Gainesville Sun’s 40 under 40 List. The award honors influential and admired individuals, from a variety of different industries in the Gainesville and Alachua County Area. The winners are featured in a special section of The Gainesville Sun, released on December 23, 2018.
Before joining GrayRobinson, Stephanie was a Senior Assistant City Attorney for Gainesville’s City Attorney’s office where she served as a counselor, litigator and transitional lawyer in the areas of labor and employment law, employee benefits, constitutional law, ethics and sunshine law. Her leadership in the legal community includes serving as a member of The Florida Bar Board of Governors where she represents the Eighth Judicial Circuit. She also served as President of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association, President of the North Central Florida Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and Chair of The Florida Bar’s Federal Court Practice Committee.
Stephanie has been a resident of Gainesville for nearly 20 years, earning her undergraduate and law degrees with honors from the University of Florida. She is married to Dr. Brian K. Marchman, Assistant Provost and Director of Distance and Continuing Education at the University of Florida. They have two children, Marina (9) and Landon (6).
