GrayRobinson Welcomes Three Veteran Lawyers to its Fort Lauderdale and Miami Offices

FORT LAUDERDALE and MIAMI, FL – July 20, 2017 – GrayRobinson, P.A. announced today that attorneys Moises Melendez, Frank C. Walker and Jonathan Z. Kurry have joined the firm as shareholders.

Melendez and Walker join the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office; Kurry, the firm’s Miami office.

The trio’s arrival at GrayRobinson’s South Florida offices comes on the heels of the recent hiring of seasoned trial lawyers Eric Lundt and Robert Weill, who joined the firm’s Fort Lauderdale offices in May.

A seasoned litigator and certified public accountant, Melendez focuses his practice on complex business litigation matters involving franchising, unfair/deceptive trade practices, trademark, and securities and bankruptcy issues. He previously worked at Sedgewick LLP.

Walker concentrates his practice on commercial, probate and real estate litigation, as well as family law, personal injury and wrongful death matters. Prior to joining GrayRobinson, he founded the Law Offices of Stuart and Walker, P.A.

Kurry brings nearly 25 years’ experience representing clients in all aspects of real estate development, financing and operation, with an emphasis on shopping center and hospitality-related assets. Kurry, whose practice also includes the representation of family offices and foundations, previously served as General Counsel of a national real estate development and management company and as a partner at two Miami law firms.

"Moises, Frank and Jonathan bring a breadth of experience to the firm that’s very valuable to our clients," said Mayanne Downs, GrayRobinson’s president and managing director. "We are pleased to welcome them to the firm and continue expanding our services in South Florida."

Melendez is a graduate of Harvard Law School; Walker, of Samford University Cumberland School of Law; and Kurry, George Washington University Law School.
