Community Leader Forum – Orlando – David McIntosh, President, Club for Growth Action

ORLANDO, FL – February 12, 2016 – On February 8, 2016, GrayRobinson’s Orlando office hosted a Community Leader Forum featuring David McIntosh, President of Club for Growth Action. His presentation was titled "Majority that Matters."

McIntosh discussed the Club’s vision, promoting pro-growth policies and a constitutionally limited government, and vying for economic freedom. The Club engages mainly in Republican primaries and aims to elect strong leaders through their affiliated Political Action Committees. The Club has endorsed many successful candidates in the past, such as State Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, and State Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas and U.S. Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska. The Club puts intense efforts into endorsing a candidate, including extensive research and an in-depth vetting process.

McIntosh took over as President of Club for Growth Action in 2014. Prior to that role, he served in the U.S. House of Representatives for three consecutive terms. He also served as Special Assistant to the Attorney General and as Special Assistant to the President for Domestic Affairs during the Reagan administration. In George H. W. Bush's administration, he served as executive director of Vice President Dan Quayle's Council for Competitiveness.

McIntosh graduated Yale University cum laude and later received a juris doctor from the University of Chicago Law School.
