Rich Barry Joins IADC

ORLANDO, FL – January 4, 2016 – Attorney Richard L. Barry, shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Orlando law firm office, has been invited to join the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC). The IADC is an invitation-only association for lawyers and insurance executives who represent corporate and insurance interests around the world. Nominees are vetted by the IADC Membership Committee and the IADC Board of Directors before being extended an invitation. The core purpose of the IADC is to enhance the development of skills, professionalism, and camaraderie to serve and benefit the members, their clients, as well as the civil justice system, the legal profession and society in general. Mr. Barry is a civil trial attorney who focuses his practice on medical malpractice defense, professional liability defense, transportation litigation, insurance defense, insurance coverage litigation, complex litigation and construction. He has extensive experience representing physicians, hospitals, long-term care facilities, nurses, technologists and other health care providers across the state of Florida in matters involving professional liability, risk management, general liability and premise liability. He also defends automobile and other vehicular liability cases involving commercial conveyance and common carriers and represents insurance companies in first- and third-party claims and coverage disputes. Mr. Barry has litigated civil matters for his clients in both federal and state jurisdictions as well as state administrative actions involving professional licensure and discipline.
