GrayRobinson Senior Associate Robert W. Wilson Appointed to J. Douglas Williams YMCA Advisory Board of Directors
ORLANDO, Fla. - February 14, 2013 - Robert W. Wilson, a senior associate in the Orlando and Lakeland offices of GrayRobinson, P.A., was recently appointed to the J. Douglas Williams YMCA Advisory Board of Directors in Lake Mary, Fla. The Board aids the organization in fulfilling its mission to improve lives in Central Florida by connecting individuals, families and communities with Christian values that strengthen Spirit, Mind and Body. "Robert has proven himself to be a leader in our firm and in the Central Florida community," said GrayRobinson President Byrd F. "Biff" Marshall, Jr. "We are excited to see how his contributions will benefit the J. Douglas Williams YMCA and greater Orlando area." Wilson is a member of GrayRobinson's Wealth Transfer, Tax and Corporate Groups. He focuses his practice on estate planning, including advising clients on estate, gift, generation-skipping and income tax issues. He is well versed in tax-exempt organizations and regularly advises public charities and private foundations with respect to formation, governance and all aspects of tax compliance and planning. He also regularly advises business entities on various transactional matters, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures and general corporate planning and representation. Wilson earned his LL.M. in Taxation degree from the University of Florida's Levin College of Law's Graduate Tax Program, his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and his undergraduate degree and master's degree in accounting from the University of Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. |
