GrayRobinson Attorney Michele K. Cummings Selected as Attorney of the Month by Broward Lawyers Care

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - February 13, 2013 - Michele K. Cummings, a shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale office of GrayRobinson, P.A., has been selected as the October 2012 Broward Lawyers Care "Attorney of the Month." Broward Lawyers Care is a project within Legal Aid Service of Broward County and Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida that provides pro bono legal services to the community for cases ranging from children's advocacy to bankruptcy and immigration.

Michele focuses her practice at GrayRobinson on family law matters. She counsels clients and litigates on a full range of legal issues that arise from family relationships, including divorce, alimony, child support and nuptial agreements. Cummings is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in marital and family law and is "AV" rated by Martindale Hubbell - one of the profession's highest and most respected achievements.

She is certified as a family law mediator and circuit/civil mediator, serves as a Fellow of both the American and International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, is a representative to the American Bar Association House of Delegates and was appointed by the Florida Supreme Court to The Florida Bar Foundation Board of Directors where she currently serves as Immediate Past-President. Michele has been named a "Super Lawyer" by Florida Trend for the past seven consecutive years - recognized within the top 50 female "Super Lawyers" one of those times - and has also been selected the past seven consecutive years as one of the "Best Lawyers in America."

Cummings received her juris doctorate from Nova Southeastern Law School, her master's degree from Barry University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama.
