GrayRobinson Shareholder Inducted as President of The Dommerich Foundation Fund
ORLANDO, Fla. - February 06, 2013 - Joel E. Roberts, a shareholder in the Orlando office of GrayRobinson, P.A., has recently been inducted as president of the Dommerich Elementary Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting the educational mission of Dommerich Elementary School in Maitland, Fla. As president, Roberts will ensure that the organization obtains the necessary funds to meet the school's educational goals for children, teachers and staff. "This commitment shows Joel's dedication to the children of our community," said Gray Robinson President Byrd F. "Biff" Marshall, Jr. "Joel will be a great leader to this organization and we congratulate him on his induction." A member of The Florida Bar, an "AV rated" attorney and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator, Roberts concentrates his practice at GrayRobinson on commercial litigation, construction litigation, eminent domain, and public law. During his ten years practicing law, he has represented several large defense contractors, design and construction firms, and government and banking institutions. Roberts is a third generation Florida native, and is an active member of the Orlando community. He coaches YMCA youth soccer, football and basketball, is a Trustee for the Winter Park Public Library, a member of the Winter Park Parks & Recreation Commission and the president and co-founder of the Dommerich Elementary Foundation. Roberts is also a graduate of Leadership Winter Park, Leadership Orlando and Leadership Florida. He received his juris doctorate from the University of Florida, where he was editor-in-chief of the Florida Journal of International Law, and his undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy. |
