GrayRobinson's Tampa Office Welcomes William F. McFetridge
TAMPA, Fla. - December 14, 2012 - William F. McFetridge has joined the Tampa office of GrayRobinson, P.A. as an associate. McFetridge brings a strong background in a variety of general litigation issues from several prior associate positions both during and following his 2010 graduation from law school. "William's wide-spread base of legal knowledge spans many of our Tampa office's top practice areas - such as trademark, environmental and real estate law - making him a perfect addition to the team," said GrayRobinson President Byrd F. A member of The Florida Bar and the State Bar of Georgia, McFetridge's professional career began at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection in Tallahassee where he assisted attorneys in the Office of General Counsel and offered environmental compliance advice. During his career, McFetridge also worked as a summer associate for several law firms across Florida and Georgia. Prior to joining GrayRobinson, McFetridge was an associate at a Tampa law firm, Sponsler Bennett Jacobs & Adams, P.A., where he practiced workers' compensation defense and subrogation claims, as well as defended depositions, examined trial witnesses and drafted a variety of pleadings. Apart from his professional achievements, McFetridge is an active member of the community. He has volunteered his time and efforts to helping non-profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and People Understanding the Severely Handicapped or "PUSH." McFetridge earned his juris doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law where he served as an editorial board member for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and participated in several mock trial competitions. He received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University.
