GrayRobinson Welcomes Associate Jason A. Zimmerman to its Orlando Office

ORLANDO, FL - December 10, 2012 - GrayRobinson, P.A. welcomes Jason A. Zimmerman to its Orlando office as an associate in the firm's litigation practice. Zimmerman brings experience in white collar and antitrust matters to the firm, as well as a strong background in writing about current policy and law from previous roles as a political campaign blogger.

"Jason's background will be a great complement to our litigation team in Orlando," said GrayRobinson President Byrd F. "Biff" Marshall, Jr. "Throughout his short career he has already experienced a wide range of valuable experience that will prove to be an asset for both our clients and the firm."

Zimmerman began his professional career as deputy blog director for Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign where he was in charge of developing content on policy for the national blog page. Zimmerman also served as a deputy of communications for Bill Segal's 2010 Orange County mayoral campaign blog. Prior to joining GrayRobinson, Zimmerman served as a litigation associate at New York City law firm O'Melveny and Myers, LLP where he worked on a variety of cases including a nationwide price-fixing class action suit, Criminal Justice Act cases and investigations for the Department of Justice, the Security Exchange Commission and Congress. Zimmerman's admission to The Florida Bar is still pending his exam scores.

Zimmerman earned his juris doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law where he served as chancellor of the University of Florida's Honor Court and was an editor of the Florida Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree from the George Washington University. Zimmerman received both his juris doctorate and undergraduate degree with cum laude honors.
