Florida Governor Rick Scott Appoints Jeffrey T. Kuntz to the Fifteenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - November 13, 2012 - Jeffrey T. Kuntz, an attorney in the Fort Lauderdale office of GrayRobinson, P.A., was recently appointed by Florida Governor Rick Scott to the Fifteenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission for a term ending July 2014. "Jeff is an excellent choice for this position and he will serve the Governor and the State of Florida well," said GrayRobinson President Byrd F. "Biff" Marshall, Jr. Kuntz focuses his practice at GrayRobinson in areas of commercial litigation, appellate law, employee benefits, and banking and finance. He practices in state and federal courts, and serves on The Florida Bar's Appellate Court Rules Committee and is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association. Outside of the courtroom, Kuntz serves on the board of directors for Junior Achievement of South Florida, is a member of Emerge Broward and has been named a Florida Super Lawyers "Rising Star" the past four years. He also uses his experience in appellate law to author The Florida Legal Blog, where he analyzes decisions from Florida's appellate courts and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Kuntz earned his juris doctorate from Suffolk University Law School and an undergraduate degree from Boston College.
