GrayRobinson Shareholder Gary I. Resnick Receives NATOA's 2012 Ovation Award

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - October 12, 2012- Gary I. Resnick, a shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale office of GrayRobinson, P.A., has received the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) 2012 Ovation Award. This recognition honors Resnick for his service on the Federal Communications Commission's Intergovernmental Advisory Committee and strong commitment to the members of the organization. Resnick also participated as a speaker addressing communications facilities in rights of way at NATOA'S annual convention last month in New Orleans and is one of the founding members of FLATOA - the Florida chapter of NATOA.

Resnick primarily focuses his practice at GrayRobinson on regulatory affairs, communications and cable law, land use and utilities. He holds bar admissions in a number of states including Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. Resnick was previously the Director of Law and Public Policy for MediaOne -- one of the largest cable and broadband corporations in the country, and has been continuously acknowledged by the South Florida Legal Guide as a Top Attorney in South Florida.

Aside from his legal accolades, Resnick is also the current Mayor of the City of Wilton Manors. He is involved with an impressive list of organizations in the community including the Florida League of Cities, Florida League of Mayors, Broward League of Cities, Kids in Distress, and Alzheimer's Family Center.

Resnick received his juris doctorate with Honors from Rutgers University and his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University.
