Salzman to Serve as Faculty Member for ABA CLE Meeting (2/5/10)

Gary S. Salzman, shareholder with GrayRobinson, will appear as a faculty member for the American Bar Association Section of Dispute Resolution. The CLE programs will be conducted at the 2010 Midyear Meeting at the Dolphin Hotel, Orlando, FL on February 5, 2010.

The day's agenda includes Salzman presenting "Effective Advocacy in Mediations" with a panel of other experts in the field. As a certified Florida circuit-civil mediator, appellate mediator and arbitrator, Salzman will discuss strategies for enhancing settlement success in mediation.

The panel will focus on mediation efficiency, advocacy, issue identification and how to work through an impasse. Topics include: successful tools used by mediators and advocates; how to best prepare for mediation; when to use a Power Point presentation; streamlining issues; selecting the mediator; ethical considerations and organizational tips.
