Resnick Elected to the Board of Independent Multi-Family Communications Council
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (June 1, 2009) -- GrayRobinson, P.A. today announced that shareholder Gary I. Resnick has been elected to the Board of Independent Multi-Family Communications Council (IMCC). "I am honored to have been elected to serve on the IMCC Board," said Resnick. "I am excited about this opportunity and look forward to working with the other Board members to support the organization." The IMCC (www.imcc-online.org) is a national association with a mission to "bring together broadband service providers, technology suppliers and multi-family dwelling unit property owners to pursue mutually productive goals which benefit residents." At GrayRobinson, Resnick focuses on Communications, Cable & Broadband; Government; Utilities; and chairs the firm's communications practice. Resnick addresses these topics at national and statewide conferences and has published articles regarding communications providers' use of public rights-of-ways and taxation of communications service. In additon to GrayRobinson, Resnick currently serves as the Mayor of the City of Wilton Manors, President of the Broward League of Cities, and serves on the Federal Communications Commission's Intergovernmental Advisory Committee. He has held leadership positions in professional organizations including the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA).
