Biography

Stephanie is a shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Gainesville and Tampa offices representing private and public sector employers in the areas of labor and employment law, civil litigation and government law.

After earning her undergraduate and law degrees with honors from the University of Florida, Stephanie served as law clerk to the Honorable William Terrell Hodges in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.  Following her clerkship, she practiced with a boutique labor and employment firm in Tampa and then served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Gainesville for over a decade.

Stephanie is a member of The Florida Bar Board of Governors, the governing body for Florida’s 100,000+ lawyers, Past President of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association and North Central Florida Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, and Past Chair of The Florida Bar’s Federal Court Practice Committee.

Background

Stephanie was born in Dunedin, Florida, grew up in the Tampa area, and moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida.  She has lived in Gainesville for 20 years and is married to Brian K. Marchman, Ph.D., Assistant Provost and Director of Distance and Continuing Education at the University of Florida. They are proud parents of two children, Marina and Landon.
