Practice Areas

Robyn is a shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Fort Lauderdale office.  She concentrates her practice in matters affecting the family, including dissolution of marriage (divorce); establishing, modifying and enforcing child support and alimony obligations; determinations of paternity; establishing and modifying parenting plans and timesharing schedules; child relocation; domestic violence proceedings; and negotiating and drafting prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

Committed to improving the practice of Family Law, Robyn chairs the Florida Supreme Court Family Law Forms Advisory workgroup and she previously chaired the Family Law Rules Committee of The Florida Bar, having served as a vice chair and a committee member for six years.  Under her leadership, the Family Law Rules Committee proposed rules of procedure governing family law litigation to the Florida Supreme Court, as well as revisions to rules and forms already in use throughout Florida.  For the past two years she has served on the legislation committee for The Florida Bar Family Law Section.  Robyn is also a past member of The Florida Bar Civil Rules of Procedure Committee and the Family Law Section's Rules, Forms, Publications, Continuing Legal Education and Ethics/Attorney’s Fees Committees.

Within the broader legal community, Robyn has served on the board of governors for the Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar, as an officer and board member of the Broward County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers’ Section for many years, and as a board member for the Nova Southeastern Law Alumni Association.

In the community at large, Robyn serves on the executive board of Winterfest, Inc., is a member of the Fort Lauderdale Women’s Executive Club, plays flute in her church orchestra and served in the Florida and Indiana Army National Guard (1987-1998) as a logistician, personnel officer and company commander.

While in law school, Robyn was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honor fraternity and the Moot Court honor society.  She competed in intramural, national and regional competitions in trial advocacy, appellate advocacy and negotiation competitions.
