MIAMI, FL – October 9, 2019 – Shareholder Nic Watkins, together with GrayRobinson’s Miami law firm office hosted The British American Business Council Miami's (BABC) Business Breakfast Seminar featuring The British and American Music Industry with expert guest speakers Serona Elton and Vance Anderson, on October 3, 2019. Watkins serves as Director on the Board of Directors of the BABC.
Serona Elton has extensive experience as a music industry professional and educator. She is an associate professor, the Associate Dean of Administration, and Director of the Music Business and Entertainment Industries Program at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. She also serves as Vice President, Product Management at Warner Music Group.
For over 50 years Vance Anderson has worked with musical artists, management, and agencies. He has mixed audio and coordinated production for award winning TV shows, film scores, and multiple Grammy winning record projects. Anderson is currently the manager of The Well Pennies and Golden Bear Records.
The mission of the Miami Chapter of the BABC is to provide networking, education, and business development opportunities and to build cultural ties between the United Kingdom, South Florida and the extended Latin American and Caribbean business communities.
