Frank Shepherd Teaches Insurance Law at the 2019 Florida College of Advanced Judicial Studies

MIAMI, FL –May 31, 2019 – Attorney Frank A. Shepherd, shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Miami office, joined by Fourth District Court of Appeal Judge Jeffrey Kuntz, former County Court Judge Gladys Perez Villaneuva, and Adrian Arkin, Esq., taught an advanced course in insurance law entitled "First Party Insurance–Don't Get Blown Away" at the annual Florida College of Advanced Judicial Studies held May 29-31, 2019 at the Orlando Renaissance Hotel at SeaWorld. In recognition of the fact that first party insurance actions constitute the largest single block of cases on the civil dockets in many, if not all, of the 20 circuits in the state, the course was allotted a full day of the three day conference.  Attendance at the college is limited to 250 trial and appellate court judges each year, and no more than 40 judges per class to afford personalized instruction necessary in each subject area.  Shepherd served as a judge on the Florida Third District Court of Appeal from September, 2003 to March 2017.  He has been a regular participating member of the faculty of the College of Advanced Judicial Studies for nearly a decade.  Read more about the Florida College of Advanced Judicial Studies here.
