MIAMI, FL – May 1, 2018 – Attorney Peter Quinter, shareholder and chair of the Customs and International Trade Law Group in GrayRobinson’s Miami and Fort Lauderdale offices, presented at the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) Seminar sponsored by the Florida Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association on April 24, 2018, in Orlando, Florida. The seminar guided Airlines, Air Freight Consolidators, Ocean Transport Intermediaries and Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOCC), Customs Brokers, Exporters and Importers through numerous security related processes.

The C-TPAT program, formed in November 2001, is a voluntary public-private partnership of more than 11,000 trade entities. The Florida Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association, founded in 1960, represents the Florida freight forwarding and customs brokerage industry in developing international trade policies, supporting the State of Florida’s efforts to compete for international trade resources and seeking to minimize trade barriers affecting its members.
