TALLAHASSEE, FL – December 1, 2017 – Lobbyist and attorney Dean Cannon, GrayRobinson’s executive vice president and statewide chair of government affairs, is participating in the Florida League of Cities 57th Annual Legislative Conference, taking place Wednesday, December 6 – Friday, December 8 in Kissimmee, Florida. Cannon is participating as a panel-member in the segment "Lobbying 101: Learn from the Pros on Effectively Communicating with Legislators." Using his experience as past Speaker of the House, Cannon will give constructive feedback to conference attendees participating in a mock legislative committee meeting and a mock in-person meeting.
The Annual Legislative Conference gives municipal officials the opportunity to prepare for the 2018 Session, which begins January 9, 2018.
