FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – October 20, 2017 – Attorney Gary I. Resnick, shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Fort Lauderdale law firm office and chair of the firm’s Communications, Cable and Broadband Law practice group, presented at "Florida Electric, Renewable and Telecommunications Updates: the Interplay of Federal, State and Local Jurisdictions," on October 6, 2017, in Tampa, Florida, hosted by The Florida Bar Public Utilities Law Committee in collaboration with the Energy Bar Association. His presentation was part of the panel "Collocation of Wireless Telecommunications Devices on Utility Poles – The New Law."
The event brought together utility regulatory practitioners from government, industry and others in the public and private sectors and provided practical real-world information, addressing financing of renewables, Federal Energy Regulation Commission/State jurisdiction, negotiated policy making on bringing solar and utilities together and the 2017 law on collocation of wireless telecommunications devices on utility poles.
