MIAMI, FL – November 4, 2016 – Attorney Karen Stetson, a shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Miami law firm office, presented at the University of Miami School of Law "Powerhouse Women Panel" on October 27, 2016. This panel highlighted the successes and experiences of four thriving and talented attorneys in the creative spheres of intellectual property and entertainment. The program centered around the evolution of and current controversies in intellectual property and its relation to the entertainment and sports industries. Karen’s practice focuses on entertainment law involving intellectual property - copyrights and trademarks, including litigation, prosecution, registrations, licenses and contracts - and related causes of action, unfair competition, cybersquatting, domain name disputes, antipiracy (both at the retail level and on the Internet), royalty disputes, right of publicity and defamation issues, licensing and distribution matters, artist agreement disputes, and publishing agreement disputes.
