Schrils' practice area is commercial litigation, with an emphasis in securities litigation and arbitration proceedings. He regularly represents securities and financial services industry clients, including banks, broker-dealers, registered representatives, investment advisors, and financial planners, in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings conducted by the Financial Industry Regulatory Association, the Chicago Board of Options Exchange, the National Futures Association, the Pacific Stock Exchange, the American Arbitration Association (and its International Center for Dispute Resolution) and Judicial and Administrative Services. He also represents corporate issuers, officers and directors in class action cases and shareholder derivative proceedings.
