Brian J. Fender and Jennifer M. LaRocco to Speak at "Public Finance in Florida 2015"

TAMPA, FL – February 9, 2015 – Brian J. Fender, shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Tampa office and Jennifer M. LaRocco, of counsel in GrayRobinson’s Tampa office, will be speaking on May 7, 2015 at the "Public Finance in Florida 2015" seminar in Orlando, Florida. The seminar is put on by the Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education Committee and the City, County and Local Government Law Section of the Florida Bar. Their topic will be "Securities Law Update:  SEC Enforcement Initiatives". 

Brian practices in the firm’s Public Finance Group.  Brian has represented a variety of clients from small businesses to large corporations, as well as banking and financial institutions, cities, counties, universities, school boards, hospitals, governmental financing pools, aviation authorities, port authorities, sports authorities and various special districts. As a public finance lawyer, Brian serves as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, issuer’s counsel, trustee’s counsel and underwriter's counsel in connection with the issuance of tax-exempt and taxable bonds. 

Jennifer is a member of the Public Finance Group. She represents banking institutions, underwriters, cities, counties, universities, school boards, community development districts, and aviation, port and other governmental authorities, serving in the roles of bond counsel, disclosure counsel, trustee’s counsel, underwriters’ counsel and bank counsel. Jennifer also has experience in the area of general transactional law, representing diverse corporate and individual clients in matters including procurement of financing, real estate acquisition and development, and corporate structuring.
