GAINESVILLE, FL – January 8, 2015, Maxwell L. Minch, of counsel in GrayRobinson’s Gainesville office, will be speaking at a Panel Session – “Life in Licensing Post-Myriad” on January 29, 2015 at the AIPLA 2015 Mid-Winter Institute at the Hyatt Regency Orlando in Orlando, Florida. The American Intellectual Property Law Association’s institute takes place from January 28 through the 31st and will cover the development and execution of comprehensive licensing programs and monetizing strategies—topics at the cutting edge of every legal and business discussion in the US and abroad. The first Mid-Winter Institute was held in January 1978 in La Costa, California and this event is expected to draw approximately 800 attendees from all over the country. Minch focuses his practice in intellectual property law dealing with patent drafting and prosecution, licensing and technology transfer, corporate formation and governance, contract drafting and negotiation, and federal contract and grant compliance. Prior to joining GrayRobinson he opened his own law firm, Maxwell L. Minch Esq. PA, and served as a General Legal Consultant for Banyan Biomarkers Inc. He also previously worked 4 years as the in-house General Counsel for Banyan Biomarkers Inc.
