ORLANDO, FL – January 6, 2015 – Charles T. “Charley” Wells, of counsel in GrayRobinson’s Orlando office, is co-presenting with The Honorable A. Glenda Hatchett at the upcoming program “Spreading the Dream – A Long Look Back at Brown v. Board of Education.” Their presentation on January 13, 2015 will address the topic “Civil Rights – Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.”

The 2015 Spreading the Dream Initiative is a partnership between the African American Council of Christian Clergy, FAMU School of Law, and Orange County Public Schools (OCPS). The program will reenact portions of the Brown v. Board of Education Supreme Court case for all OCPS 8th grade students on January 13, 2015 at the Dr. Phillips Art Center. The initiative will also provide venues for a series of evening events from January 13, 2015 to January 15, 2015 for students and parent, and the community in order to create awareness of and education about the importance of the Civil Rights era. These events will include educational and cultural activities for the entire community.
