GrayRobinson, an AmLaw 200 firm with 300 attorneys and consultants in 13 offices across Florida, has an immediate opening for a South Florida Business Development Manager.  The ideal candidate will have legal industry experience working in the Miami-Dade County market, although we will consider a candidate with legal industry experience in Broward.  The Business Development Manager reports to the Business Development Director.

The position is responsible for implementing effective business development plans which are aligned with Firm goals.  This successful candidate also assists with various aspects of client development, including gathering input from attorneys and other information sources, drafting qualifications and client value propositions, as well as coaching attorneys on pitch meeting strategies. 

The Business Development Manager will identify existing client relationships that provide the potential for cross-office and cross-practice growth.  The proven ability to collaborate and develop comprehensive plans is required. It is expected that the Manager stay apprised of current legal industry trends through the proactive market and competitive research.  The successful candidate will have 5+ years’ experience working in a professional services organization, law firm experience a plus.
