GrayRobinson Celebrates Life of Shareholder, Philippe Devé

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Philippe ‘Philo’ Devé, a shareholder in our Miami office, and a friend. Upon joining GrayRobinson in 2011, Philippe quickly emerged as a leader in the firm, the courtroom and - perhaps most importantly - in the South Florida community.

Even with a full plate personally and professionally, Philippe always found time to volunteer for Legal Aid Small Claims Clinic and was a fixture on the Jackson Metropolitans’ Board, helping raise money for Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Internet resource center, which connects the hospital’s young patients with other children facing the same struggles.

Philippe received his B.S. from Allegheny College and then he earned his J.D. from Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law. Most recently, Philippe was the recipient of GrayRobinson’s "We are GR Award," a firm honor that is awarded to an attorney who makes a significant difference to the firm.

On behalf of the entire firm, our thoughts and prayers go out to Philippe’s family and the many people around South Florida whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his wife Natacha, his step-children Sebastian and Sabrina and his mother and father Denyse and Vagn Devé.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center or the American Cancer Society in memory of Philippe Devé.
