Washington, D.C. – July 31, 2020 – GrayRobinson’s government affairs and lobbying group released its weekly federal lobbying newsletter, The Golden Apple, reporting on the most recent issues, individuals, and discourse deemed fairest in Washington. This week the newsletter discusses the HEALS Act and the HEROES Act, the House of Representatives funding for a pilot program for postal banking, and The Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) new team within its Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations (OCIE). The "Next Week in Washington" section announces the House is scheduled to be in recess throughout the month of August, subject to a call of the Speaker that would bring them all back within 24 hours. "The Ellis Insight" section closes up the newsletter with Jim Ellis' report on political news. Read the newsletter in its entirety here.
