Toasts, Not Tariffs

The wine and spirits industries are caught in the middle of a trade dispute between the U.S. and the EU over airline subsidies.

25% tariffs are being applied to Single Malt Scotch, Irish Whiskey, and most liqueurs, cordials and wines from the EU.

These tariffs are taxes that unnecessarily punish America’s wine and spirits industries, deny American consumers access to the products of their choice, and could also cost tens of thousands of jobs in other related industries, like the beverage alcohol retail and wholesaler sectors, as well as the hospitality and commercial driving sectors.

Right now, American negotiators are working with the European Union to try to resolve this trade dispute.  We need to continue to urge the Trump Administration to negotiate removing these tariffs.  Wines and spirits should not be used as a bargaining chip in a trade dispute over airline subsidies, which is why we need YOU to take action!

Together, click here tell the Trump Administration that we need #ToastsNotTariffs. Take action NOW!
