Jennifer Vanover Earns Registered Patent Attorney Title

JACKSONVILLE, FL – November 19, 2019 – GrayRobinson, P.A. announces Jennifer Vanover, associate in GrayRobinson's Jacksonville and Gainesville law firm offices, has earned the title of registered patent attorney. This title gives Vanover the ability to represent clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in patent cases. The qualifications needed to become a registered patent attorney include meeting certain legal, scientific and technical qualifications, passing the United States Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) registration exam and meeting specific guidelines to represent patent applicants before the USPTO. Patent attorneys must be licensed attorneys who are active members in good standing with the bar of the highest court of any state. 

Vanover's practice includes intellectual property, technology, internet and software, licensing, and commercial transactions. She has extensive experience prosecuting state, federal, and foreign trademark applications for a variety of clients. Her trademark services include conducting availability searches, preparing registration and infringement opinions,  responding to office actions for trademark applications, and assisting in managing trademark portfolios. In addition, she regularly assists clients in negotiating and drafting intellectual property and technology licenses relating to the commercialization of their intellectual property.
