Grier Wells Achieves Board Certification in Civil Trial Law

JACKSONVILLE, FL – June 25, 2018 –  S. Grier Wells, shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Jacksonville law firm office, has achieved Board Certification in Civil Trial Law by The Florida Bar’s Board of Legal Specialization and Education. Civil trial law involves  litigation of civil controversies in all areas of law before state courts, federal courts and  administrative agencies.  Board Certification in Civil Trial Law recognizes an attorney’s special knowledge, skills, and proficiency in civil trial  practice as well as professionalism and ethics in practice.

Wells, who was also recently admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, is a shareholder in the Jacksonville office of GrayRobinson, concentrating his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, personal injury, insurance defense, employment law and product liability litigation. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating. In addition to his reputation as a skilled trial lawyer, Wells is recognized as a leader in the community. Having served as a member of the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar from 2002 through 2014, Wells took an active leadership role principally in the areas of lawyer discipline, program development and oversight and client security fund claims. Wells is a past president of the Jacksonville Bar Association and a charter member and past president of the Jacksonville Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
