GrayRobinson Welcomes Seasoned Health Care Attorney to Gainesville Office

GAINESVILLE, FL – June 12, 2018 – GrayRobinson announced today the addition of attorney Rupa S. Lloyd as a shareholder in the Firm’s Gainesville office. Prior to joining the Firm, Lloyd was a health care regulatory and transactional partner with Dell Salter.

Lloyd began her career in private practice as a health care associate with Houston Harbaugh, before becoming an associate director at the University of Florida Health Science Center in 2002, where she was responsible for contractual and regulatory matters.

Lloyd is recognized for her leadership and commitment to the health law community in Florida, as is evidenced by her nomination and election by her peers to the Health Law Executive Council, which is the governing body of the Health Law Section of The Florida Bar. She is regularly sought after to present on constantly evolving topics in health care which are of key importance to major players in the industry.

A graduate of Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Lloyd earned her law degree cum laude from University of Pittsburgh School of Law’s Health Law Certificate Program. She also has a Certificate in Healthcare Risk Management from the University of Florida, and a Certificate in Healthcare Facilities Planning and Design from Cornell University’s Sloan Program in Health Administration.

She concentrates her practice on health care operational, corporate, transactional and regulatory matters, advising clients in many facets of their business, including privacy and data security, telemedicine, fraud and abuse, corporate governance, labor relations, licensure and discipline, quality improvement and healthcare risk management.
