GrayRobinson Expands Gainesville Office and Welcomes Stephanie Marchman

GAINESVILLE, FL – February 13, 2018GrayRobinson, P.A. announces the addition of Stephanie M. Marchman as a shareholder in the Gainesville office. Marchman joins GrayRobinson from the Office of the City Attorney in Gainesville, Florida where she was as Senior Assistant City Attorney for 11 years. In this role, Marchman served as  a counselor, litigator and transactional lawyer for the City of Gainesville in the areas of labor and employment law, employee benefits, constitutional law, ethics and Sunshine Law. She previously clerked for Senior United States District Judge Wm. Terrell Hodges in the Middle District of Florida.

Marchman’s leadership in the legal community includes serving as a member of The Florida Bar Board of Governors, the governing body for Florida’s 100,000 lawyers, in which she represents the Eighth Judicial Circuit. She has also served as President of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association, President of the North Central Florida Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and Chair of The Florida Bar’s Federal Court Practice Committee.

Marchman earned her undergraduate and law degrees with honors from the University of Florida and has lived in Gainesville for nearly 20 years. She is married to Dr. Brian K. Marchman, Assistant Provost and Director of Distance and Continuing Education at the University of Florida. They have two children, Marina (8) and Landon (5).
