ORLANDO, FL – January 24, 2018GrayRobinson, P.A. announced today that Orlando-based shareholder Trevor Arnold has been named chair of the Firm’s statewide construction practice group. The construction practice group, made up of 44 attorneys firmwide, brings together more than a century of collective experience litigating hundreds of millions of dollars in construction disputes ranging from simple construction lien disputes to major public and private works and facilities projects throughout the state. The group also handles contract work including architect and engineer defects and omissions, as well as construction legislation through GrayRobinson’s lobbying practice.

“From the first day Trevor joined our firm fifteen years ago, he has shown not only that he’s an outstanding lawyer, but also a true advocate for the best interests of our clients,” said Mayanne Downs, GrayRobinson’s president and managing director. “He has demonstrated tremendous leadership in his practice and within the firm as a whole, which made the decision to name him as chair of the construction practice group an easy decision. I look forwarding to seeing all that the team accomplishes under his leadership in the coming years.

Arnold, who earned his law degree from the University of Florida, is board certified in construction law by The Florida Bar. He focuses his practice primarily on litigation matters, with experience in a wide variety of construction-related disputes, including personal injuries and deaths, as well as construction defects, failures, delays and other inefficiencies. He frequently speaks around the country on construction law issues such as architectural contracts, design liabilities and green building matters.
