    TAMPA, FL – Dec. 15, 2017 –  GrayRobinson, P.A. announces Andrew J. Mayts, Jr., shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Tampa office, has been appointed to serve on The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee for a third consecutive year. The 2018 executive committee was announced at the 132nd Annual Meeting held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Tampa Convention Center. Mayts will serve a one-year term on the board as legal counsel effective immediately.

    The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce focuses on enhancing the Tampa community by building business success. Its core values center on diversity, integrity, vision, innovation and teamwork. The Chamber is a not-for-profit business membership organization that helps promote the businesses and business interests of its members. Members include small businesses, big corporations, government bodies and the military. The Greater Tampa Chamber serves as a single, unifying force with the power to shape the future of Tampa Bay.

    Mayts focuses his practice on construction, banking and cyber security and has been a shareholder with GrayRobinson since 2008. He is an AV rated attorney with Martindale-Hubbell, which signifies the highest accolade a lawyer can receive for his legal ability and adherence to professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability and diligence.

    Mayts grew up in Tampa, Florida, and attended Jesuit High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida on an academic scholarship and his law degree from Stetson University. Following law school, he worked for a highway contractor and was a principal in a closely held underground utility construction company. He practiced in his own firm prior to joining GrayRobinson.
