    TAMPA, FL – November 17, 2017 Construction, banking and cyber security attorney Andrew J. Mayts, Jr., shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Tampa law firm office, has been appointed to serve on The Hillsborough County Bar Foundation Board of Trustees. Andy will begin serving a three-year term on the board effective immediately.

    The Hillsborough County Bar Foundation supports and promotes projects and programs that encourage assistance to the poor, disabled, and disadvantaged in our community who are in need of legal assistance and access to the legal system.

    Andy has been a shareholder with GrayRobinson since 2008. As a commercial litigator at GrayRobinson, Andy focuses his practice on banking and construction litigation matters. Andy was awarded an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which signifies the highest accolade a lawyer can receive for his legal ability and adherence to professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability and diligence.

    Andy grew up in Tampa, Florida, and attended Jesuit High School. He attended the University of South Florida on an academic scholarship and went on to receive his juris doctor with honors from Stetson University. After law school, he worked for a highway contractor and was a principal in a closely held underground utility construction company. He practiced in his own firm prior to joining GrayRobinson.
