Keith C. Smith Named Chair of Plant City Economic Development Corporation

LAKELAND, FL – September 27, 2017 – Corporate law attorney Keith C. Smith, shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Lakeland law office, was recently elected Chair of the Plant City Economic Development Corporation (PCEDC). Keith will begin serving his one-year term effective immediately.

The PCEDC is a public-private, non-profit organization with approximately 40 member companies. The PCEDC’s primary role is to help create jobs and capital investment by attracting new companies as well as facilitating the expansion of existing companies in the Plant City area.

Keith concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate law, estate planning, and the representation of lenders and financial institutions and utilities law. Keith represents a variety of clients on matters that include business succession planning and wealth preservation planning for business owners and individuals. As a part of his corporate practice, Keith acts as outside general counsel to multiple businesses, including Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative Inc., one of the largest rural electric cooperative utilities in the nation.
