    MIAMI, FL – April 18, 2017 – Attorney Peter Quinter, shareholder and chair of the Customs and International Trade Law Group in GrayRobinson’s Fort Lauderdale and Miami law firm offices, was re-appointed to the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Customs Law Committee as vice-chair as well as in charge of the policy activity for the Steering Group. Quinter has been actively involved with the committee for many years, including having previously served as chair from 2008-2010. This committee is concerned with the full range of laws and regulations administered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in connection with the importation and exportation of merchandise. The committee also focuses on voluntary programs established by CBP, as well as enforcement initiatives and developments. In addition, the committee is involved with international harmonization efforts and the comparative operations and regulations of Customs agencies outside of the United States.
