John Harris Elected to TQC Foundation Board of Trustees

TALLAHASSEE, FL – January 17, 2017 – Government Consultant John J. Harris, of GrayRobinson’s Tallahassee law firm office, has been elected to the Board of Trustees for the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, Inc. ("the Foundation").

The Foundation was founded in 1994 as an independent charitable organization, creating and sponsoring the annual Biletnikoff Award presented to the nation’s outstanding college football receiver, regardless of the position the receiver plays on the field. In addition, the Foundation annually provides college and vocational scholarships and other benefits, totaling over $800,000.00, to deserving high school students who have overcome significant obstacles to achieve success in both the classroom and community. The Foundation is administered by volunteers with no paid staff to ensure all dollars received go towards scholarships. The annual Biletnikoff Award Banquet, where over 500 people enjoy the "best banquet in college sports," is held in Tallahassee, Florida. The Banquet recognizes scholarship recipients, as well as the Biletnikoff Award winner (announced at ESPN's annual Home Depot College Football Awards), who receives the beautiful Biletnikoff Award trophy, the most beautiful in college sports.

The 2017 Biletnikoff Award Banquet will take place February 18, 2017 at the University Center Club in Tallahassee, Florida.
