TAMPA, FL – January 5, 2017 – Attorney Richard M. Blau, chair of GrayRobinson’s nationwide alcohol law, food law and medical marijuana law departments has been named to both the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s "25 People to Watch in 2017" list and the publication’s annual "Power 100" List. Blau was highlighted for his recent work in Florida’s medical marijuana field. This past November, Florida passed Amendment 2 to expand medical marijuana use in the state, making it the second largest market in the U.S.
As chair of GrayRobinson's alcohol beverage food law and medical marijuana departments, Blau and his colleagues focus on the rules, regulations, and business practices that govern the marketing, sale, and consumption of distilled spirits, wine, beer, food and other regulated products like medical marijuana.
