GrayRobinson Lobbyists Present Session Overview Throughout Florida

TALLAHASSEE, FL – April 13, 2016 – GrayRobinson attorneys and lobbyists Christopher L. Carmody, Jr., David Griffin, Robert F. Stuart, Jr. and Christopher Dawson are traveling throughout the state to give 2016 Session overview presentations. The presentations give a wide overview of the legislation passed during the 2016 Session, including details about the state budget and important legislation that did not pass this go-round.

Carmody, Griffin, Stuart and Dawson began in Tampa on April 11, 2016 where they gave their session overview followed by a panel discussion featuring Gina Evans, Director Government Affairs for HCAA (Hillsborough County Aviation Authority) Tampa International Airport; Eric Johnson, Director Community and Government Relations for Hillsborough Community College; Mark Walsh, Assistant Vice President for Government Relations for University of South Florida; and Clint Shouppe, State Government Relations Manager for BayCare Health System.

GrayRobinson’s Fort Lauderdale office, in conjunction with NAIOP, are hosting Politics Policy and Power: A Summary of the 2016 Legislative Session on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Carmody and Stuart will share a session overview with the group. Register for the event here.

Carmody is moderating the Seminole Sessions: Legislative Update meeting on Thursday, April 21, 2016, 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. featuring Representative Jason Brodeur, Representative Bob Cortes, Senator David Simmons and Representative Scott Plakon. The foursome is traveling to Jacksonville on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, to give an overview of the 2016 Session, featuring a panel of local in-house lobbyists.
