Richard J. Swift, Jr. Attorney At Law

Richard is a shareholder in the firm’s Fort Myers and Naples offices with nearly two decades of experience. He focuses his practice in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, banking and finance, and corporate law.

Richard has extensive experience representing large financial institutions in complex loan transactions for commercial real estate and asset based loans.  He also represents developers and other real estate investors for commercial and residential development. In addition, Richard counsels individual clients for the purchase and sale of real estate advising them from contract to closing. He also has significant experience in forming and creating business entities for small businesses and other general corporate matters.

• Background

  Richard was born in Rochester, New York and moved to Naples in 2002 to open his own law firm. Richard graduated cum laude from Syracuse University where he earned his law degree and graduated summa cum laude from St. John Fisher College where he earned his B.A. degree.
