Bo is a Florida Bar Board Certified construction attorney with an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and is an expert in Florida construction law. Less than 1% of Florida attorneys are Board Certified in Construction Law. Bo’s construction practice entails representing architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors in addressing the legal challenges of conducting business in Florida, including litigation, contract negotiation and drafting, as well as risk management to prevent claims.

Bo has experience handling construction claims involving various types of projects and construction. He handles disputes relating to horizontal construction such as roadways, bridges and site civil issues, as well as vertical construction regarding disputes over commercial buildings, residential projects, including apartments, condominium conversions, oceanfront condominiums, and single-family homes. Bo also handles disputes over mechanical and indoor air quality issues. He has litigated and tried several construction cases involving surgery centers involving mechanical systems.  

Bo also handles various commercial and business litigation including disputes regarding contracts, leases, business torts, trade secrets, intellectual property, and non-competition agreements.

For six years prior to joining GrayRobinson, Bo worked at a Tier 1 Construction Law firm, as rated by U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms.”

Following law school, Bo was an in-house attorney at Starwood Hotels and Resorts in the Acquisition and Development Group. His practice consisted of obtaining development entitlements, as well as defending against construction claims, environmentalist anti-development claims, and lien issues. The majority of Bo’s practice was in or involved Hawai’i, a difficult environment for development and construction.

Bo is one of Central Florida’s rarities, a multigenerational Orlando native.  As a result, Bo has significant ties and connections in the Central Florida community.
