Ronald J. Tomassi, Jr.

EXPERIENCE

Ronald has practiced complex commercial litigation at the trial and appellate levels in the federal and state courts of Florida, as well as worked on significant arbitration cases. He has worked on matters spanning a wide range of practice areas including cross-border disputes, class actions, probate litigation, real estate and condominium actions, contract disputes, securities matters, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, and tort actions.

BACKGROUND

Although born in New York, Ronald has spent nearly his entire life in South Florida. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Florida in 1998. Ronald obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, he was an Articles Editor for the International and Comparative Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board. In the summer of 2004, Ronald served as an intern for United States Magistrate Judge William C. Turnoff in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Most recently, Ronald has served as an associate at Proskauer Rose LLP.
