The National Labor Relations Board has adopted changes to the Agency's rules aimed at "stream lining" the representation election process by:
- Limiting any employer challenges to a union effort to organize employees including voter eligibility issues until after the election has concluded;
- Allowing the parties to file election documents, including the petition electronically;
- Requiring that employers provide the email addresses and telephone numbers of voters to the union, and;
- Expediting election related hearings.
