Jason S. Cetel is a senior associate in GrayRobinson's Tampa office and is a member of the firm’s Nationwide Alcohol Beverage Practice.  He concentrates his practice on advising companies in the heavily-regulated alcohol industry about how to comply with the complex variety of federal, state, and local rules and regulations that govern the manufacturing, distribution, marketing, sale, and consumption of distilled spirits, wine, beer, cider and other regulated alcohol products. He focuses on licensing and regulatory compliance issues for large and small alcohol beverage manufacturers as well as for industry members from other segments and tiers of America’s three-tier system of alcohol distribution.

Jason handles all aspects of licensing, business and trade practice analysis, and other regulatory compliance matters for companies working in industries that are subject to strict administrative oversight, and has extensive experience working with state and local regulatory agencies and government officials across the country. He regularly conducts legal risk assessments for novel business models, as well as provides trade practice compliance on innovative promotional activities involving unlicensed third-party companies that work intimately with licensed companies in the alcohol industry.

Jason also has experience with alcohol-specific litigation matters, including disputes over wholesale distribution contracts involving US-based breweries and importers of foreign beer. He assists clients with alcohol beverage licensing across multiple industries, including national restaurant and off-premise retail chains, and has managed extensive multi-state licensing projects resulting from mergers and acquisitions involving hundreds of locations and thousands of licenses for both on- and off-premise retailers
