    WASHINGTON, DC – November 15, 2019 – GrayRobinson’s government affairs and lobbying group released its weekly federal lobbying newsletter, The Golden Apple, reporting on the most recent issues, individuals, and discourse deemed fairest in Washington. This week’s topics include The House of Representatives’ vote to revamp the Export-Import Bank and extend its operating authority for ten years, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s (FDIC) reports describing the growing importance of nonbank lenders, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) interpretative rule that clarifies the obligations of lending organizations that hire loan originators with “temporary authority” to make loans under the SAFE Act.
