    MIAMI, FL – July 10, 2019 – Attorney Brian H. Bieber, shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Miami law firm office,  was quoted in the Financial Times article “US Accuses Businessmen of Bribery in Connection with Petroecuador." The article discusses the case in which the US has accused two Ecuadorean businessmen of bribery in connection with its investigation into corruption at Petroecuador, Ecuador’s state-owned oil company. Armengol Alfonso Cevallos Diaz and Jose Melquiades Cisneros Alarcon were indicted on 11 counts of money laundering and conspiracy linked to $4.4m in bribes they and unnamed co-conspirators allegedly paid Petroecuador officials. Bieber, who represents Mr. Cisneros Alarcon, expounds in the article, “We are reviewing the voluminous amount of evidence provided to us by the government, and are preparing for the October trial date.” Read the full article here.
